The Pipeline/Mapping Designer provides critical technical support to the Lead
Designer and Project Engineering staff. This role is responsible for the
execution of Onshore and Offshore construction drawings, ensuring all
deliverables adhere to the latest industry standards and project-specific
requirements through the application of AutoCAD software.

We are seeking experienced Pipeline/Mapping Designers on a contract basis. This
role with work closely with the client engineering team.

Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in a pipeline/mapping design capacity is required.
• Minimum of High School Diploma; a 2 year or 4 year CAD or Technology degree is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining strict adherence to project deadlines.
• Must have good communication, writing, and presentation skills, and an excellent work ethic and work attitude; organizational skills a must.
• Have knowledge and expertise acquired through progressive experience to resolve crucial issues and/or unique conditions.
• Must interpret, organize, execute, and coordinates assignments. Must also be a team player.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency using GIS software such as ArcGIS and Global Mapper is a plus.
• Experience using Photoshop or other graphic editing software is a plus.
• 3D modeling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the development of Onshore and Offshore Overall Field Layouts, Alignment Sheets, Drill Centers, Shore Approaches, and Routing Drawings.
• Execute the production of various highly detailed drawings including Spool Details, Pipeline Tie-in Details, Jumper Details, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Configuration Details, Pipeline Crossings, and Risers Configuration drawings.
• Take part in the creation of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and other critical technical schematics.
• Interpret and incorporate redline revisions.
• Transform preliminary engineering sketches and technical notes into professional-grade drawing sets.
• Advanced-level command of AutoCAD software is a requirement. Proficiency using GIS software such as ArcGIS and Global Mapper is a plus. Experience using Photoshop or other graphic editing software is a plus. 3D modeling experience is a plus.
• Experience working in AutoCAD while navigating various Geodetic Coordinate Systems.
