Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent education with at least three to five (3-5) years of experience or on the job training; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Basic knowledge of fluid flow, pressure, hydrostatic head, pump characteristics and pipeline operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • English language fluency, verbal and written.
  • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years in a supervisory position.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license required; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred.
  • Ability to travel and work in remote areas on a daily basis; may be on call.

Responsibilities

  • Direct work of third-party contractors.
  • Ensure all safety and environmental requirements are met.
  • Assure all contractors and employees know and follow safety and work rules and policies.
  • Oversee all operational, construction, safety, and personnel work is received from Operations Director and field personnel.
  • Review hourly time sheets, invoices, O&M manual.
  • Direct the daily activities of an average of four to six (4-6) employees.
  • Hire train, supervise, and assist employees as necessary to keep the pipeline in continuous operation.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of third-party contractors.
