Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SIA) is seeking an Engineering Consultant to support client projects related to pipeline integrity, safety regulations, and engineering critical assessments. The position includes software development and implementation of applications to provide engineering services with regards to Fitness-for-Service (FFS), statistical analyses, database design, software/application development, and detailed documentation in support of these activities. As a member of the Pipeline Integrity Compliance Solutions (PICS) Strategic Initiatives group, the Consultant will provide support to the development and implementation of new programs and solutions to support key initiatives in these areas, including new and novel solutions to support our clients’ compliance with recently enacted and upcoming changes to the code. The safe, environmentally responsible operation of our nation’s pipelines has always been our priority. Pipeline operators employ comprehensive integrity management programs to prevent failures of the pipeline system due to causes such as corrosion, manufacturing defects, excavation damage, or other causes. SIA works with these natural gas and hazardous liquid pipeline operators to assist in implementation and improvement of integrity management programs. We continually expand our technical expertise through the active participation in standards development and other regulatory forums. We provide industry leading solutions to the most challenging problems.
