About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Pipelayers for projects located in the West Mifflin, PA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $34/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Install underground piping systems for water, sewer, and storm drainage Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and project plans Excavate, prepare, and maintain trenches in compliance with safety regulations Align and position pipe to proper grade and elevation using lasers and levels Cut, fit, and connect piping using appropriate tools and methods Inspect pipe installation to ensure proper alignment and leak-free connections Coordinate with equipment operators and crew members to complete tasks efficiently Backfill trenches and restore jobsite conditions upon completion Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of pipelaying experience
Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor conditions
Strong understanding of grades, elevations, and underground utility installation
Must provide and wear required PPE
Must pass a drug screen

Responsibilities
