About The Position
The position involves various responsibilities related to pipeline construction and maintenance. The employee will ensure job site safety and perform proper excavation and compaction procedures. They will be responsible for installing sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systems, cutting pipes to required lengths, and assisting in aligning pipes during construction. The role also includes checking slopes for conformance, connecting pipe pieces, and covering pipes with earth or other materials. Additionally, the employee will grade and level trench bases and train others in pipe-laying techniques.
