About The Position

Sundt is seeking a Pipelayer Foreman for our project in Phoenix, AZ. Pay Rate is $39 per hr plus cash fringe, working 40+ hrs per week. Must be able to pass pre employment drug screen. Job Summary Assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties. Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision. Must have the ability to take direction from a higher skilled worker or foreman.

Requirements

• NCCER Core Curriculum and /or a High School diploma or equivalent is also preferred.
• One year experience (level I), two years' experience (level II) and three plus years' experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry is preferred.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
• May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
• May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
• May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
• Move in and around confined, cluttered and uneven areas.
• Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
• Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
• Will climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds.
• Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50Ibs. on an occasional basis
• Work up to a 12 hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.

Responsibilities
