About The Position

CCS Construction Staffing is seeking experienced Pipefitters for a temp-to-hire role in Plano, TX. This position is ideal for skilled fitters who want long-term stability and the chance to transition into a full-time role with a respected mechanical contractor.

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of commercial or industrial pipefitting experience.
Ability to perform accurate measurements, offsets, and takeoffs.
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and pipefitting layout tools.
Ability to work from drawings with limited supervision.
Reliable transportation and ability to pass a drug screen.
OSHA 10 preferred (or can be obtained through CCS).

Responsibilities

Read and interpret piping drawings, isometric sketches, and specifications.
Measure, cut, thread, and install pipe according to layout requirements.
Fit carbon steel and/or stainless-steel piping using proper tools, levels, and alignment methods.
Install valves, supports, flanges, gaskets, and associated hardware.
Work with welders to align and prepare piping for welding.
Perform system tests and ensure compliance with project standards and code requirements.
Maintain safe work habits and support a team-focused project environment.
