About The Position

Carpenter Co. is seeking a qualified Industrial Pipefitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to accomplish tasks as assigned. This includes completing isometric and layout drawings for new or revised piping systems, performing material takeoffs for the purchase of required fabrication materials, and operating forklifts, cherry pickers, and other industrial machinery as needed to complete work orders.

Requirements

• NCCER certified as an Industrial Pipefitter
• One to two years experience as a Pipefitter in a chemical plant environment
• Mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

• Uses appropriate hand tools, power tools and other equipment (e.g. grinders, welding machines, power saws, etc.) to accomplish tasks as assigned
• Completes isometric and layout drawings for new/revised piping systems
• Performs material takeoffs for the purchase of required fabrication materials
• Operates forklift, cherry picker and other industrial machinery as needed to complete work orders
