About The Position

This position is located at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The incumbent performs journeyman pipefitter duties in the Plumbing and Electric Shop of the Facility Management (FM) Division.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, repair, troubleshoot, and test new and existing high pressure piping systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair all utilities such as water, sewerage and gas systems.
• Install and repair steam operated technical medical equipment (auto-claves, washer sterilizers, bedpan washers, etc.).
• Keep all tools, hand and power, in good working order
• Work from work orders, plans, sketches, and oral instructions.
