Domtar, Menominee Operations is seeking a talented individual to join our team and we will be accepting applications for a Maintenance Pipefitter. This will be an 8-hour day shift Monday through Friday. The Pipefitter will maintain all mill piping and valving in a safe and timely manner to ensure plant run ability. Additional responsibilities may include cutting, threading, welding and installation of pipe. Replacing and repairing valves.

Requirements

high school diploma or GED equivalent
four (4) years of experience in a related field
three (3) to five (5) years in an industrial environment
self-directed individuals
excellent trouble shooting/problem solving skills
good written and oral skills
Must be able to work both independently and as part of our team
be willing to participate in off-hours support, i.e. call-ins, overtime, etc

Nice To Haves

A journeyman’s certification is preferred, but we will consider equivalent experience without certifications.
