Austin Industrial is currently seeking a Pipefitter to join our staff located at Selma, AL. They must be able to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial pipefitting (preferably in mill or plant environments).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping schematics.
• Skilled in cutting, threading, bending, and assembling pipes using various tools and techniques.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates degree or certification(s) in pipefitting.
• Experience 5+ years of experience in pipefitting in industrial construction.
• Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
• Valid Driver's License
• Valid TWIC card
• Meet physical demands as listed above

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Perform welding or brazing as needed
• Perform field measurements and installations as needed
• Assemble and install pipes, and valves according to lay-out plan, blueprints and other drawings
• Fabricate structural materials and pipes as needed
• Other duties as assigned.
