About The Position

We are currently hiring for Pipefitters with experience in fire alarm and sprinkler systems in Richmond and Boydton, VA. We are currently hiring pipefitters for all levels, from helpers to foremen. As a pipefitter with fire alarm and sprinkler experience, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler and alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings. Foremen will oversee installation crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to code. Pipefitter with Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Installer Responsibilities: Install, assemble, and repair fire sprinkler and alarm piping systems, including steel, CPVC, and other materials Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications related to fire protection systems Coordinate and supervise daily activities of crew members (8-10 people), ensuring proper installation and safety protocols Manage materials, labor, and project timelines to meet deadlines and budgets Conduct inspections and testing of installed systems to ensure compliance with NFPA 13, local codes, and standards Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and hours worked Provide guidance and training to team members on installation techniques, safety, and quality standards Attend project meetings and communicate progress to clients and management Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment Complete projects with high-quality standards, customer satisfaction, and on schedule Pipefitter with Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Installer Qualifications: 1+ years of pipefitting experience with fire sprinkler and alarm system installation (3+ years for foremen) Experience installing and repairing fire sprinkler systems, including wet, CPVC, and steel piping Knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 72, and relevant fire safety codes Experience supervising and leading crews (foreman) Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus (foreman required)  Benefits: Weekly pay Referral program Paid time off and Holiday pay Medical, vision, dental insurance 401k

Requirements

  • Knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 72, and relevant fire safety codes
  • Experience supervising and leading crews (foreman)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus (foreman required)
