This position entails supporting mechanical and construction projects through various tasks, including but not limited to the installation of hydronic piping systems, selection and fitting of valves and controls, pressure testing, troubleshooting and repair, and routine maintenance. The pipefitter will also support project teams by interpreting technical drawings, collaborating with other trades, and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols. Requirements

  • 10 years of experience with hydronic piping layout and fabrication
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve problems in hydronic systems
  • Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and other professionals
  • As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

  • Installing hydronic piping systems according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes
  • Selecting and installing appropriate pipe fittings, valves, and controls to regulate fluid flow
  • Conducting pressure tests and inspections to verify the integrity of the installed systems
  • Diagnosing issues, developing solutions, and performing repairs on existing systems
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of hydronic systems
  • Working with other trades and professionals on construction and maintenance projects
  • Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
