About The Position

Lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Cut, thread pipe to specifications Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipe lines Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment following blueprints Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications Select pipe sizes and types according to specifications Cut and bore holes in structures prior to pipe installation

Minimum 2 years of commercial HVAC pipe filling experience
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
