About The Position
In this position, you will interpret and analyze drawings, sketches, and technical work documents to evaluate manufacturing repair or modification processes, specifically identifying areas of improvement related to pipefitting work. You will also interpret technical design specifications into an installation sequence plan for the manufacturing of piping systems. Additionally, you will develop detailed sketches, models, and drawings using traditional methods and software for use by production personnel in the prefabrication processes of shipboard piping systems. Your role will include participating in the planning phases of work by providing specialized trade expertise in the planning, arrangement, and resolution of drawing and interference problems for piping systems.
