About The Position

Pipefitter General Foreman must have the ability to Oversee assigned Supervisors and Multiple Projects

Requirements

• Needs basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate with the customer
• Must follow all Safety and Company Policies
• Have knowledge of all piping systems
• Ability to troubleshoot drawing problems and provide solutions
• Ability to conduct various training
• Able to operate various equipment, benders/threaders etc
• Able to plan and schedule various piping activities
• Must have a minimum of 10 years of Supervisory and ship repair experience and qualifications.
• Must be able to speak, write and understand Basic English
• Able to climb ladders and work off scaffolding
• Able to lift, carry, and or push up to 50  lbs. throughout the shift (including overtime)
• Follow verbal/written instructions
• Able to work independently
• Teamwork orientation
• Must present a valid export document. Acceptable documents are U.S. Birth Certificate, Certificate of Naturalization, Passport, Passport Card and Permanent Resident Card.

Responsibilities

• Reads job specifications to accomplish requirements
• Ability to read all blueprints and other documentation
• Ability to Supervise multiple projects
• Order Material from specifications
• Supervise and train assigned Supervisors
• Know standard items pertaining to Piping
• Write IDR’s and Required Reports
• Over see Pipe Department when Department Head is away
