About The Position

Requirements

• Journeyman Industrial Pipefitter certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of Pipefitting experience.
• Ability to work at heights and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Full range of mobility in upper and lower body.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using appropriate tools.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures using brackets, clamps, and welding equipment.
• Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
• Select pipe sizes and types and related materials according to specifications.
• Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems and related machines and equipment.
• Turn valves to shut off steam, water, or other gases or liquids from pipe sections.
• Remove and replace worn components.
• Inspect work sites for obstructions and structural integrity.
• Operate motorized pumps to remove water from flooded areas.
• Work at heights and lift a minimum of 50 pounds, climb ladders, and stand for long periods.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions while wearing personal protective equipment.
