About The Position

Responsibilities: Assist pipefitters with the layout, assembly, and installation of piping systems according to specifications and blueprints. Transport and organize materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site, ensuring they are readily available for use. Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing spaces, removing debris, and ensuring a safe working environment. Perform basic pipefitting tasks under the supervision of experienced pipefitters, including cutting, threading, and assembling pipes. Follow all safety protocols and procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety meetings. Clean, maintain, and store tools and equipment properly to ensure they are in good working condition. Assist in maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during the project. Education Requirements/Qualifications: Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn and gain experience in pipefitting is essential. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Job Requirements/Special Skills: Basic understanding of construction practices and safety procedures. Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment. Knowledge of various pipefitting techniques and tools. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
