This position involves Project Field Supervision of Piping activities, Subcontractors, Field Staff or Home Office Staff, and overall Budget Performance, as well as management of the overall site. The General Foreman oversees daily construction activities at the work site, including scheduling workers, managing equipment and material delivery, and tracking project progress. The role requires working with contractors to complete projects within budget and timeframe, resolving contract disputes, and arranging necessary order changes. The individual is expected to be familiar with various field concepts, practices, and procedures, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This role performs a variety of tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, and requires a wide degree of creativity and latitude. The position typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
