About The Position

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
  • In-depth knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the oil and energy industry
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of pipefitters and apprentices on-site
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to determine project requirements
  • Manage project timelines and milestones to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of work quality and progress
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and new team members
  • Collaborate with project managers and other trade supervisors to facilitate project execution
  • Address and resolve any on-site issues or challenges effectively and efficiently
