About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pipefitter General Foreman for a rewarding opportunity in the Oil & Energy industry. Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
- In-depth knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the oil and energy industry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of pipefitters and apprentices on-site
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to determine project requirements
- Manage project timelines and milestones to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of work quality and progress
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and new team members
- Collaborate with project managers and other trade supervisors to facilitate project execution
- Address and resolve any on-site issues or challenges effectively and efficiently
