About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter Foreman to join our team in the Oil & Energy industry. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of pipefitting techniques, materials, and industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the Oil & Energy industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on communication and collaboration.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Certification in relevant trades or completion of an apprenticeship program in pipefitting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of pipefitters on-site to ensure timely and quality work execution.
  • Plan and coordinate daily work schedules and project requirements in alignment with overall project timelines.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Review blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements and to provide input on design modifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to piping systems, ensuring any problems are reported and addressed immediately.
  • Monitor materials and supplies inventory, making recommendations for procurement to avoid project delays.
  • Provide training and mentorship to less experienced pipefitters, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in the field.
