About The Position

As a Pipefitter-Basic Journeyman, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of our project, ensuring high-quality standards and timely delivery. This is a temporary position with a duration of 3 months, offering a great work environment and the chance to work with a leading construction company.

Requirements

Journeyman level Pipefitter with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Valid certification or license as a Pipefitter.
Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in using pipefitting tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various conditions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screening.
Flexibility to work extended hours, if required.

Responsibilities

Install and assemble piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance of piping systems to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and repair any issues or leaks in the piping infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
Collaborate with other trades and project teams to coordinate installation and maintenance activities.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Select and utilize appropriate tools and equipment for pipefitting tasks.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all pipefitting activities.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
