About The Position

Apache Workforce is seeking experienced Pipe Welders to support industrial fabrication and piping system projects for multiple manufacturing partners. This role focuses on welding and assembling piping systems used in industrial equipment and production environments. Candidates must have strong experience in pipe welding, blueprint interpretation, and working with industrial piping materials.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of pipe welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong proficiency in MIG and TIG welding processes
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, pipe drawings, and welding blueprints
Knowledge of pipe schedules, fittings, and base materials
Experience using measuring and inspection tools
Ability to pass an internal welding test prior to placement
Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

Welding and fabricating industrial piping systems and components
Performing MIG and TIG welding (and additional processes as required)
Reading and interpreting piping drawings, weld symbols, and P&IDs
Selecting appropriate filler materials for different metals and pipe applications
Setting up welding equipment and adjusting machine parameters as needed
Performing visual inspections and quality checks on completed welds
Using measuring tools to verify alignment, fit-up, and weld accuracy
Grinding, finishing, and preparing pipe joints using hand and power tools
Maintaining safe, clean, and organized work areas
Supporting fabrication and production needs as assigned
