About The Position

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking Pipe Testers to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. In this role you will use a torque wrench to test steel pipes. This position is available on first shift. Requirements

• Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required
• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
• Ability to speak and read either English or Spanish required
• Ability to read a tape measure required
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and climb ladders throughout the shift
• Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred
• Ability to read blueprints preferred
