About The Position

Pipefitter Leadman ability to Supervise small piping projects

Requirements

• Ability to communicate with the customer
• Must follow all Safety and Company Policies
• Have knowledge of various piping systems
• Able to operate various equipment, benders/threaders etc
• Must be silver braze qualified
• Must have a minimum of 2-5 years of ship repair experience and qualifications.
• Must be able to speak, write and understand Basic English
• Able to climb ladders and work off scaffolding
• Able to lift, carry, and or push up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift (including overtime)
• Follow verbal/written instructions
• Able to work independently
• Teamwork orientation

Responsibilities

• Reads job specifications to accomplish requirements
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to Supervise small projects
• Order Material for small projects
• Supervise 7-10 pipefitters
• Know standard items pertaining to Piping
• Work under a foreman on large projects
• Must adhere to a promote ALL company safety policies. Wear all required PPE when in Production areas and promote a clean and safe work environment.
