About The Position

The Line Out Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily duties of the crew, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely. This role requires strong supervisory skills and a thorough understanding of safety, health, and environmental policies. The Foreman will work closely with the Superintendent and maintain communication with clients to uphold high-quality standards in maintenance, turnaround, or construction environments.

Requirements

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in refinery maintenance, turnaround, or construction.
• Good understanding of craft work being supervised and knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to pass the Craft Skills Test at or above 70% or complete the NCCER certification for your craft.
• Knowledge of Matrix policies and procedures.
• Completion of Matrix Service C-Stop Plus Safety training, Process Safety Management training, and Client/Site specific training.
• Active status within the DISA drug testing program.

Responsibilities

• Line out daily duties for the crew and ensure work completion.
• Maintain daily contact with the client.
• Implement Safety Accountability Procedures.
• Ensure high quality of work is maintained.
• Conduct and participate in safety meetings for the crews.
• Supervise and manage crews effectively.
• Ensure Foreman complete Craft Employee Evaluations.
• Promote a strong Safety culture within the supervised crews.
• Identify and correct safety hazards in the work environment.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by supervision.
