Opportunity Overview: Pipe Fitter - Contract Position for 1 month You will report onsite to South Texas Nuclear Plant in Wadsworth, Texas. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Requirements
- Journeyman Pipefitter / Mechanical Craft Certification
- Five (5) years pipefitting craft experience.
- Diploma or applicable education from a trade or technical school in industrial maintenance may qualify for part of experience requirement.
- Experience with pumping, delivery and discharge systems .
- 18 years of age
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- Nuclear background, fitness for duty which includes medical and pre-employment drug screen
Responsibilities
- Plan, layout, and execute jobs.
- Fabricate, install, repair, replace and maintain piping, plumbing, sewers, fixtures, filters, valves, air compressors, water meters, radiant heaters, controls, pumps (including cooling tower and chilled water pumps), vacuum, pneumatic and hydraulic, fire, water and waste systems throughout the plant site, including the Ultra Filters along with the sanitary waste and the industrial waste treatment facilities.
