Summary: Assists with the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance and smooth operation of the building and campus. Requirements

  • Trade work licenses or certifications required.
  • Driver's license.
  • Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
  • Help secure pipes, valves, hangers, and fittings during assembly or installation.
  • Assist experienced pipe fitters with the layout, preparation, and installation of piping systems.
  • Assist other skilled trades (e.g., sheet metal, insulation, welding, plumbing) as needed to support project workflow.
  • Support the layout and organization of materials on-site and help maneuver completed assemblies into place.
  • Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
  • Notifies managers about the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
