We seek individuals who embody our core values: hard work, integrity, and dedication to the industry . We are hiring a Pipe Fabricator to join our Cedar Rapids fabrication team. This role involves threading and grooving pipe, performing light welding to make-on fittings and fabricating lined pipe. As a Fabricator you will be essential to producing high-quality fabricated pipe and fittings used on job sites and in sprinkler system installs. This position is ideal for someone who take pride in their craftsmanship and delivering high quality work.

Ability to read and interpret drawings, material lists, and job orders
Mechanical aptitude
Basic math skills

Nice To Haves

Previous welding or fabrication experience preferred

Responsibilities

Set up and operate threading and grooving machines for pipe fabrication.
Make-on fittings, light welding, and lined pipe fabrication.
Read drawings, material lists, and job orders to determine fabrication specifications.
Inspect materials before, during, and after fabrication to verify that results meet specifications.
Monitor machines during operation to ensure the accuracy and quality of production.
Perform routine preventative maintenance.
Operate overhead cranes to move material.
Assist with shipping and receiving duties as required.
