About The Position

Epsilon is a leader in the Off-Site Construction (OSC) industry, delivering mechanical/electrical-centric systems in a modular, prefabricated form, optimized for a streamlined on-site completion by us or others. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Lay out, assemble, install, or maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, or related hydraulic or pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, or industrial production or processing systems. Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use, and lay out the sequence of tasks Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass pipes, valves and fittings Join pipe sections, related equipment and secure in position Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks Drill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets. Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand tools and various power tools. Willing to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.

Requirements

  • Possess a suitable combination of education and experience to meet the requirements of this position
  • Must be a Pipe Fitter/Steamfitter Journeyman by trade
  • Minimum of 1 – 3 years industrial experience is preferred
  • Must be able to work with various hand tools and operate an industrial powered fork truck
  • Demonstrated proficiency reading and interpreting work orders and drawings.
  • Able to work independently or as a team player
  • Able to take direction and communicate with others
  • Have excellent time management skills, organized and detail oriented
  • Employ a friendly, outgoing personality, respectful of co-workers and ability to work with individuals to carry out goals of the organization
