About The Position

The Physiotherapist Functional Assessor role at Maximus involves using clinical expertise to assess how disabilities or health conditions impact individuals' daily lives. Requirements

• Valid HCPC registration number.
• At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience within or outside of the NHS.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorships available).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software for report writing.

• Experience in handling complex cases involving chronic pain disorders and neurological, physical, and mental health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to evaluate the impact of disabilities or health conditions on daily life.
• Produce Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
• Develop clinical knowledge and assessment skills through regular feedback and supervision.
