About The Position

Functional Responsibilities include but are NOT limited to:

Effectively work with other associates in the department to promote team spirit.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions by Supervisor.
Train and work with other operations to effectively to maintain the integrity of the plates.
Responsible for inspection of the plates before releasing to Pre-Mounter.
Ability to use equipment effectively to maintain the integrity of the plates.
Ensure jobs are mounted correctly and compared to the sample bag or blueline for accuracy.
Accurately assigns plate mounts and related materials.
Responsible for quality, quantity, housekeeping, waste and safety of machine.
Communicates all pertinent information to Relief Operator on next shift.
Perform other job related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
Frequent bending and stooping.
Hazards are those normally associated with a plant position and include: noise levels above 85 decibels, warm building temperature during mid-summer months.
Personal and product safety requirements for the plant include: hearing protection, safety glasses and safety shoes.

Requirements

• Must be able to communicate in an effective and respectful manner.
• Must be capable of being an effective crew leader.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend simple math and understand production order.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to understand a manufacturing order.
• Understand the mechanics of the Press and know how to set up Press.
• High School Graduate or GED
