Pilot Job Description Summary Assumes responsibility for the safe conduct of flights as the pilot or co-pilot. Assures trips are executed to best serve the needs of the passengers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Administrative · Assists in the development of departmental policies and procedures. · Provides input to annual operating budget as requested. · Works with FAA to insure each company aircraft has up to date legal documents. · Keeps informed of the latest developments within the business aviation community. Operational · Complies with operations manual and suggests updates or modifications as appropriate. · Complies with applicable company policies. · Along with other Company pilots ensure all hangar operations (cleaning & snow removal) are completed. · Responsible for arranging and participating in all training (initial and recurrent) to maintain necessary credentials to fly all company owned aircraft. · Ensures the aircraft is clean and prepared for each flight. · Conducts thorough pre-flight of aircraft and component systems prior to each flight. · Completes an in-depth weather/notam check prior to each flight and determines aircraft weight, balance and fuel requirements for the flight. · Makes decisions necessary to start, delay or cancel flights. · Will start in King Air 350 and Phenom 300E

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in the field; preferred minimum of 2500 hours flying experience to include 1500 hours of "pilot in command" experience; 1000 hours of multi engine; 100 hours of Jet; 100 hours in type of aircraft or manufacturer's school.
  • Must hold a First Class Medical Certificate and must meet all physical job requirements.
