Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking qualified Second in Command candidates for a homebased SIC position for EJM Crew Services flying the Gulfstream G450, G550 and GV. This position will provide support to multiple EJM part 91 and part 135 accounts. The pilot will be scheduled for 16 flying days each month, with five days off selected by the pilot each month. Trips can vary in day length and destinations can be domestic or international. This position is responsible to the Chief Pilot for the performance of all assigned duties involved in the safe and efficient conduct of flight assignments.

  • Perform pilot duties in accordance with the Company GOM, FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, etc.
  • Responsible for assuring that the company's goals for safety, security and quality are met by continual compliance with the company Safety management System (SMS) program.
  • Responsible for the post-flight of the aircraft interior, including removal of all debris from the cockpit area and reporting any interior equipment discrepancies to the PIC.
  • Arrange and obtain cabin items including catering required for a flight as identified by the Flight Operations Center.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service at all times.
  • Coordinate all work schedules and schedule changes with the Chief Pilot.
  • Log and report flight and duty times.
  • Report all commercial flying performed outside the Company to the Flight Operations Center for inclusion in the Flight and Duty Time Records.
  • Maintain and provide the Flight Operations Training Department with a copy of his/her First Class Medical Certificate by the twentieth (20th) of the month due.

  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Preference given to local candidates with Gulfstream or similar aircraft size experience.
  • Strong prioritizing and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple & high level priorities.
