About The Position

As a member of the Order Assembly team, you will be part of the ITQ Integrated Operations - One Pilot Plant organization. This role presents an exciting and challenging opportunity to gain new or leverage existing food processing skills. Your work will directly support multiple R&D platforms by pre-scaling and mixing ingredients for new and existing product development. Shifts: The standard work schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 4:30 am – 12:30 pm. With advanced notice, this role requires flexibility to work different hours, and occasional weekends, including overtime, may be required based on business needs. Key Accountabilities: Lead with Safety, helping to foster and maintain a culture that values Employee & Consumer Safety. Follow GMPs and all other food safety practices and procedures, including the completion of required documentation. Safely assemble, operate, disassemble, and clean equipment. Accurately and efficiently execute customer Order Assembly requests – weighing, labeling, packaging, and delivering. Accurately manage ingredient inventory via the onsite Warehouse Management System. Provide outstanding internal and external customer service. Proactively initiate equipment and system repairs to ensure proper function is maintained. Learn and apply Continuous Improvement tools as a routine part of your work. Consistently lift and manipulate 55 lbs safely and frequently over an 8-hour period.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Capable of performing well with limited supervision, both individually, as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform well in a mechanical and technical environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer and technology skills.
  • Ability to gain powered pallet jack certification is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous "food manufacturing" experience is strongly preferred.
  • Previous Warehouse Management System and inventory management experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous Continuous Improvement experience is strongly preferred.
  • Previous powered pallet jack experience is preferred
