About The Position

Part 91 Challenger 604 SIC is a core contributor to our corporate aviation team and an active partner in how the flight department supports the company. This role goes beyond flying; it requires strong communication, teamwork, and hands-on involvement in aircraft readiness, planning, and operational coordination. In addition to supporting safe and precise operation of the Challenger 604, the SIC participates in trip preparation, maintenance communication, cabin readiness, and department support. This individual embodies company values, represents the organization professionally, and contributes to a high-performance, service-focused aviation environment. The SIC will be immersed in the inner workings of the department and given meaningful opportunities to take on expanded responsibilities over time, developing toward future Captain-level leadership based on performance and readiness. Candidates must live or establish residency within 90 minutes of Boise, ID (KBOI), hold Commercial MEL or ATP, and must have the following minimums: 2,800 TT, 1,500 PIC, 500 Turbine PIC, 500 Jet, 500 Multi-Engine Key Objectives: Become a Cultural Extension of the Company Represent the organization with professionalism, humility, and a service-oriented mindset Build trust with executives and internal partners through confidentiality, reliability, and alignment with company values Demonstrate a team-first approach by supporting the full scope of flight department operations Deliver a Reliable, Executive-Caliber Flight Experience Partner with the Captain to provide smooth, efficient, and personalized travel for executive passengers Maintain a polished, composed presence and proactively anticipate needs Ensure every flight reflects high standards of safety, care, and operational excellence Own Aircraft Readiness & Hands-On Stewardship Assist with aircraft preparation, inspections, organizing, and stocking to maintain mission-ready condition Monitor and communicate maintenance items and coordinate with maintenance partners Treat the aircraft as a shared responsibility and uphold consistent readiness and appearance standards Demonstrate Strong Communication and Coordination Communicate clearly and proactively with the captain, ground crews, and internal teams Engage fully in-flight planning, logistics, and operational discussions Contribute to a disciplined safety culture through effective use of all available resources and adherence to SOPs Contribute to Department Development & Long-Term Leadership Pipeline Learn the broader operational framework of the flight department Participate in improving processes, communication, and service delivery Exhibit leadership behaviors that support progression into increased responsibility and potential future Captain duties

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Flight Operations Support all phases of flight: planning, weather review, navigation, systems monitoring, communication, and post-flight tasks
  • Maintain accurate logs, documentation, and trip records
  • Assist the Captain with decision-making through strong situational awareness
  • Operate in compliance with FAA Part 91 and company SOPs
  • Aircraft Stewardship & Maintenance Coordination Conduct detailed pre- and post-flight inspections
  • Track and communicate discrepancies and assist in coordinating maintenance activity
  • Participate in aircraft organization, stocking, and cleanliness to reflect executive-level standards
  • Passenger & Executive Service Deliver a refined, discreet, and professional experience for executive travelers
  • Assist with logistics such as ground transportation, catering, and special requests
  • Ensure seamless comfort, safety, and support throughout the travel experience
  • Department Integration & Operational Support Support department planning, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build strong internal relationships and represent aviation with professionalism
  • Assist with operational tasks that strengthen alignment between aviation and the broader organization
