Requirements

  • Minimum 2 Years as a pile driver/ heavy equipment mechanic with experience working on both diesel and gasoline engines.
  • Experience with hydraulic repair and diagnostics.
  • Must have field experience.
  • Valid Drivers License, Must pass and clear MVR, (Class B License preferred, but not required)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with diesel and gas engine repair and diagnostics.
  • Experience with Small engine repair.
  • Ability to read plans and schematics.
  • Experience with machine automation (GNSS Automation).

Responsibilities

  • Setting up Pile drivers for operation within tolerances provided by manufacturer.
  • Breaking down Pile drivers into transport mode as required.
  • Daily inspection observation, and reporting of all site pile driving machines.
  • Regularly scheduled preventative maintenance of pile driving machines following manufacturer specific instructions as well as company procedures.
  • Recording, reporting and scheduling maintenance as well as repairs for pile driving equipment with Equipment Coordinator along with Pile Superintendent.
  • Communicating issues with the pile driving operator, pile superintendent, and Equipment Coordinator as well as some 3rd party vendor interactions.
  • Diagnosing issues related to fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
  • Ensuring that all equipment is in safe operating condition and removing from service when it is not.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures including site specific policies.
  • Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position.
