As we near completion of our world-renowned Sports Club renovation, the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is seeking a Pilates Studio Lead to help bring this exciting new chapter to life. This is a unique opportunity to shape the Pilates experience within a premier luxury environment while inspiring wellness and connection among our members and guests. The Pilates Studio Lead is responsible for the execution and delivery of Pilates programming, ensuring a safe, engaging, and elevated experience for all members and guests. This role creates a welcoming, motivating environment while promoting proper technique, mindfulness, and overall wellness. You will deliver exceptional service by building meaningful relationships, using member names, and fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere. The ability to administer CPR and First Aid is required.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred or at least 3 years of hospitality/fitness related experience. Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English Language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with clients, members, guests, co-workers.
  • CPR/AED certification required
  • Experience working within a luxury Club/Resort environment; Minimum of 3 years experience in a professional fitness center or yoga studio
  • Certification from an accredited Pilates organization required
  • Strong understanding of Pilates principles, including form, alignment, breathwork, and modifications
  • Ability to safely cue, correct, and guide participants
  • Knowledge of studio operations, member engagement, and class programming
  • Ability to demonstrate Pilates exercises with proper form
  • Ability to safely adjust participants
  • Must be able to remain active for extended periods
  • Ability to lift/move equipment up to 40 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Arrive on time in proper uniform, maintaining a polished, professional appearance
  • Attend all required training, safety courses, and departmental meetings
  • Lead Pilates classes with a focus on safety, proper form, and engagement
  • Create a personalized experience by greeting members and guests by name
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully prepared studio environment
  • Sanitize and maintain all equipment; report maintenance needs promptly
  • Monitor class participation and provide feedback to enhance programming
  • Assist members in selecting programs aligned with their goals (non-medical guidance)
  • Support instructor scheduling, administrative tasks, and studio communications
  • Follow up with members on participation and training opportunities
  • Partner with front desk teams on bookings, packages, and member interactions
  • Maintain awareness of overall fitness floor operations and report concerns
  • Uphold all safety standards and address hazards immediately
  • Support special events, workshops, and wellness programming
  • Continue professional development and stay current with industry trends
