Requirements
- Passion for Fitness – A love for health, fitness, and helping others succeed.
- Strong Communication Skills – Ability to connect with members and deliver clear instructions in an energetic and motivating manner.
- Knowledge of Anatomy – Understanding of basic anatomy and movement principles.
- Certification & Training – Complete the Comprehensive BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Training Program and pass each apparatus test-out to ensure the highest standards of instruction.
- Positive Attitude – Enthusiastic, team-oriented, and dedicated to creating a supportive and fun studio environment.
Nice To Haves
- Pilates/Fitness Experience – Prior Pilates or group fitness experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Class Instruction & Member Engagement Teach dynamic and effective Pilates classes, following the BODYBAR method.
- Ensure each class is tailored to meet the needs of all fitness levels, delivering a safe, fun, and challenging workout.
- Create a welcoming and engaging environment for members before, during, and after class.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to client questions regarding exercises, studio policies, and promotions.
- Community Building Cultivate a positive and motivating environment by engaging with members and encouraging their fitness progress.
- Help foster a strong sense of community within the studio through events and day-to-day interactions.
- Continuous Growth & Development Stay up to date with BODYBAR’s method, mission, and goals to deliver consistent, high-quality instruction.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.
- Team Collaboration Work closely with fellow instructors and the studio leadership team to maintain a positive and motivating studio culture.
- Take part in securing class substitutions when necessary and ensure seamless studio operations.
