About The Position

At FS8, we fuse Pilates, Tone and Yoga into a seamless, full-body 3-in-1 training experience that's low impact but high energy. Our FS8 family is looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, and charismatic Head Trainer. FS8 Trainers play a fundamental role within the team and company culture as they lead our classes, working closely with each individual member providing the ultimate FS8 experience. As an FS8 Head Trainer, you will manage the team of full-time and part-time trainers as well as run group training sessions, assess member fitness levels, build a community that keeps our members coming back every day and promote the FS8 Pilates-Tone-Yoga brand throughout our market area.

Requirements

3-year minimum experience as a personal fitness trainer with Pilates background
Must hold a current fitness certification from an FS8-approved education entity as followed; an Industry Certified Pilates Certification such as a Diploma in Pilates, or a Cert 3/4 in Pilates, or the FS8 Trainer Certification, or an NCCA approved certification as either a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) or Group Fitness Instructor (GFI/Group X)
Must have CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to develop strong relationships with members
Solid knowledge of biomechanics and exercise physiology
Motivated and passionate about health and fitness
Reliable and punctual with excellent attention to detail
Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and afternoons/evenings

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing all aspects of the FS8 Athletics Staff and Athletic Operations of the FS8 Studio
Manage the team of full-time and part-time trainers using the FS8 Methodology
Promote an energetic environment and create a culture of family at FS8
Inspire members to fully utilize all FS8 resources to achieve personal fitness goals
Conduct in-person, goal-oriented consultations with all trial members
Focus on membership acquisition and retention, including conducting referral/lead generation activities
Setup the studio for specific FS8 training classes
Ensure the studio is impeccably maintained
Participate in the monthly FS8 Athletics webinars
Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with the coach's team to go over new FS8 phases
Ensure coaches are following opening and closing procedures
Conduct studio tours
Answering phone calls
Help with membership sales
