The Barista is responsible for the daily service of various coffees, teas, drinks, and menu items, ensuring all guests and patrons are served in a quick, efficient, and friendly manner. This role includes the daily maintenance of equipment such as coffee machines, espresso machines, and refrigeration, as well as understanding the financial aspects of these items. The Barista will manage a cash bank, requiring general cashiering experience and the ability to operate the hotel’s POS system accurately. Daily reports and sales recording are essential, along with inventory management and requisitioning of materials. The Barista will also assist the bartender/cashier as needed, maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area, and prepare garnishes and mixes for drinks. A service-minded attitude and a willingness to learn are crucial for maintaining the high standards of quality service expected.
