About The Position

Rowan's Piercing Studio Nurse is responsible for providing a safe, clean, and joyful ear-piercing experience. This role combines nursing expertise with customer service to ensure a celebratory atmosphere during each piercing session. The nurse will perform piercings with care, educate customers on aftercare, and maintain a sterile environment, all while building trust and excitement with clients.

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN/LVN License.
• Professional and engaging customer care approach.
• Warm, friendly, team player with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Excited to create celebratory, memorable experiences for customers.
• Skilled in providing both technical and non-technical information to customers.
• Interest in working in a retail environment with sales goals.
• Obsessive attention to detail.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Additional training in pediatrics and/or ear piercing is a plus.
• Open to all experience levels; newly licensed nurses are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Create magical and memorable customer experiences by combining clinical care with a celebratory atmosphere during each piercing session.
• Ensure customer safety and comfort, facilitating a smooth flow of care.
• Provide clear and professional communication with clients throughout their piercing experience.
• Educate customers on aftercare and promote Rowan's After Care products.
• Conduct thorough ear evaluations for optimal earring placement and offer personalized styling advice.
• Monitor customer experiences and address any issues to maintain clinical standards.
• Maintain a sterile and aseptic environment at the nurse station and on the procedure tray.
• Use expert knowledge of skin care and infection control to provide professional piercing services.
• Collaborate with the Studio Manager to ensure smooth operations and a joyful atmosphere.
• Mentor and train new nurses on clinical piercing standards and customer interactions.
• Ensure all piercing stations are stocked and ready for customer needs.
• Sterilize jewelry and needle piercing instruments to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Follow state, federal, and CDC guidelines for sanitary and safe piercing practices.
• Support studio metrics related to revenue growth and efficiency in piercing services.
