Snowmass Club is seeking a Pickleball Professional to help grow our pickleball program through lessons, events, and exceptional member engagement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching, building community, and contributing to a vibrant racquet sports culture. 🌟 What Guides Us OUR MISSION – Inspire lasting memories and meaningful connections with all the comforts of home OUR VISION – To be the Club of choice for work & play OUR VALUES – Y.E.S. βœ… You Elevate Service – Every lesson and interaction creates lasting impact 🀝 We Are One Team – Support fellow professionals and collaborate across departments 🎭 Be A Host – Create a welcoming and inclusive racquet sports environment 🌍 Embrace the Adventure – Grow the game and inspire players at every level πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ Family Culture – Foster connection, encouragement, and community πŸ“ What You’ll Do Instruction & Player Development Provide private and group pickleball lessons for juniors and adults Conduct clinics, lessons, and structured development programs Promote skill development, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game Assist with junior development programming Program & Event Support Promote and coordinate leagues, drop-ins, socials, and tournaments Assist with racquet sports events and special programming Help grow participation and engagement in pickleball programs Communicate with Racquet Sports leadership to schedule and promote activities Facility & Operational Support Help maintain pickleball courts and surrounding areas in clean, safe condition Assist with daily operations of the Racquet Sports facility and Pro Shop Answer phones, book courts and lessons, and assist members with reservations Invoice members for lessons, court usage, and merchandise Attend staff meetings and training sessions Leadership & Culture Serve as a positive role model for members and team members Support Snowmass Club’s culture of YESpitality and excellence Assist with emergency response when required

Requirements

  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Two to three years of competitive playing experience and/or pickleball program experience preferred
  • Experience teaching private lessons and group clinics preferred
  • Experience working with junior development programs preferred
  • PPR and/or RSPA Pickleball Certification preferred
  • Playing ability of 4.5 level or higher preferred
  • Knowledge of court maintenance and racquet sports operations preferred
  • Strong teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage players of all ages and skill levels
  • Organized, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Passion for growing the game of pickleball
  • Ability to demonstrate and control swing mechanics safely during instruction
  • Frequent standing, walking, running, bending, and repetitive movement
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent use of racquet sports equipment and light tools

Responsibilities

  • Provide private and group pickleball lessons for juniors and adults
  • Conduct clinics, lessons, and structured development programs
