About The Position

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Pickleball Professional located in Kansas City, MO. Key responsibilities include organizing and leading pickleball lessons, clinics, and tournaments for players of all skill levels. The role also involves facilitating skill development, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment, and overseeing pickleball programs and events. Additional duties may include promoting the sport, engaging members, and collaborating with other club staff to enhance member experiences.

Requirements

• Knowledge of pickleball-specific skills and techniques, including coaching and mentoring players of various skill levels
• Experience in organizing and managing sports events, tournaments, and group activities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster an engaging and inclusive environment for members
• Ability to maintain a professional and enthusiastic attitude while working with diverse individuals and teams
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Accept a background check
• 3+ years of work experience with Sports Coaching

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in fitness, health, or wellness industries is a plus
• Certification in pickleball coaching or relevant sports training is an advantage, but not required to start.
