About The Position

Performs a variety of duties associated with the presentation of the HRCA Tennis/Pickleball Pavilion Program. Assists in on-court pickleball programming to include group lessons, drills, camps, clinics, and other pickleball programming. Works in conjunction with other pickleball staff to promote the pickleball programs and provide quality customer service. Supports the tennis/pickleball desk model by providing information about on-court functions and needs.

Requirements

• Must demonstrate an ability to assist in the teaching of pickleball programs including group lessons, clinics, camps, and special events for participants of all ages.
• Knowledge of tennis/pickleball desk procedures and customer service functions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• A minimum of 2 years of high school completed is required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with the game of pickleball and/or being a pickleball player is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements pickleball programs in conjunction with the pickleball teaching team.
• Provides customer service to all pickleball customers, both internal and external.
• Approaches others courteously and with a helpful, positive attitude.
• Role models professionalism in dress, on-court behavior, and assistance provided to the pickleball teaching team.
• Supports the tennis/pickleball desk function.
• Provides information to clarify on-court functions, events, programs, and fee collection.
• Contributes to the overall appearance and safety of the facility, i.e. picking up balls in the lobby/pathways/court areas.
• Ensures that all work areas are kept in a manner reflective of positive public presentation.
• Performs related duties as assigned and required.
