About The Position

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Picking and Packing Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Famous Supply Columbus Distribution Center. As the Picking and Packing Supervisor, you will oversee the daily activities of the picking and packing team, ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. You will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, meeting quality standards, and ensuring the timely dispatch of products.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the picking and packing team to ensure daily operational goals are met.
• Monitor and ensure the accurate picking, packing, and labeling of orders according to company procedures.
• Implement and enforce safety standards and best practices in the warehouse environment.
• Coordinate with the warehouse management team to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any operational issues.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure orders meet company standards.
• Assist in training and developing new team members.
• Maintain and update records of picked and packed orders, ensuring compliance with tracking systems.
• Assist with order discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
