About The Position

The Packer is responsible for performing standard packing operations to prepare finished parts for shipment. This role involves assembling boxes, packing and labeling parts, performing visual inspections, and accurately recording inventory counts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-minded, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift
Experience using scales
Basic data entry and computer skills
Ability to build and assemble boxes
Strong attention to detail and quality
Basic reading and math skills
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers
Safety-minded at all times

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Vantage (preferred)

Responsibilities

Receive daily job assignments from the supervisor
Gather baskets or containers of parts for packing
Retrieve boxes from Quality Control with approved “OK to Pack” documentation
Assemble boxes and properly pack parts
Perform visual inspections during packing to identify burrs, defects, or plating issues
Print and apply inventory and shipment labels
Band, tie, wrap, and prepare packed containers as required
Stack completed boxes onto skids and move skids to designated areas
Weigh, tally, transport, and arrange packed products
Enter accurate production and inventory counts into Vantage
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform other duties as assigned
