Lakeside Book Company is looking for Temp-to-Hire Picker/Packers for our two Fulfillment departments. Requirements

Minimum of 6-months previous warehouse picking experience.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50lbs through shift.
Ability to follow all safety guidelines, with a safety first mind-set.
Ability to adapt to change.

Responsibilities

Operate within the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems to pick items according to established order requirements.
Follow system prompts at Goods-to-Person (GTP) stations or through your Jennifer headset, to select, scan, and confirm items.
Maintain accuracy by verifying book titles, quantities, and item conditions.
Handle exceptions such as damaged, missing, or oversized items by adhering to Lakeside Book Company’s QC procedures.
Assist with replenishment. Ensuring that bins, totes, and mobile transport units (MTUs) are properly managed.
Report equipment malfunctions, WMS errors, or inventory discrepancies to appropriate members of leadership.
Follow all safety guidelines, including safe lifting and handling procedures.
Maintain productivity standards while meeting quality and accuracy goals.
Collaborate with supervisors, trainers, and CI staff to support process improvements.
