About The Position
As we are expanding in the Raleigh, NC market, we are looking for Picker/Packer candidates to build a talent pool for anticipated openings in Early 2026 at a manufacturing and distribution facility in Garner, NC. This first shift, temp-to-hire role offers competitive pay of $15.50-$16.50/hour based on experience. What to expect: We'll review applications as they come in and reach out to qualified candidates within 3-5 business days. If you're a match, we'll schedule a phone screening. We'll keep you updated on the timeline and confirm start dates as they're finalized. Early applicants will receive first priority when positions open.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience in picking and packing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systems
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately from warehouse locations using pick lists and RF scanners
- Pack products securely following packing specifications and quality standards
- Verify order accuracy before shipping - check item numbers, quantities, and condition
- Label packages with correct shipping information and documentation
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks to move materials efficiently
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
- Meet productivity and accuracy targets
