The Picker / Packer’s primary purpose is to perform production work such as
picking materials and verifying items for accuracy before packing. Success in
this position is measured by maintaining and/or surpassing the standard OPH
(orders per hour) by client and exceeding efficiency goals to satisfy client
needs and demands.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Possess strong oral and written communications skills
• Must be able to work in a varied, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.
• Ability to sit/walk/stand for long periods of time.
• Follow all standards of PPE in the distribution center: for example, wearing steel toed shoes, safety glasses, safety vest or any other standards provided by site leadership.
• Used RF technology

Responsibilities

• Pick the order from the slot.
• Attention to detail and able to multitask.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation
• Put the merchandise in the box
• Send it to the line (ship)
• Replenish products for PTL machine for the next shift
• Organize, tidy up and clean your work area and equipment
• Report any errors or dysfunctions to the team leaders
• Respect the best practices and training guides in force on the job
• Cross train in other areas of the department
• Other duties as assigned
